The Olympians

Some people believe in their own god, everyone’s god could be different. But in some different areas they have multiple, or one god. In a lot of places in Greece, they believe in twelve special gods. Zeus, the god of thunder. Poseidon, the god of the seas and earthquakes. Hades, the god of the dead/underworld. Hera, the queen of the gods. Athena the wise goddess of battle technique. Demeter, the goddess of seasons and food. Apollo, the god of music and the nine muses of the sun. Artemis, the goddess of the hunt/animals. Ares, the god of war. Hephaestus , the god of the forge. Aphrodite, the goddess of love. And Hermes, the god of thieves and much more. They have fables of their sons or daughters that are half-blood, half human half god. For example “Percy Jackson” by Rick Riordon. I definitely recommend this 10 book series to ages 9 and up. Years and years ago, the Greeks made stories and myths, Rick Riordon uses these stores in a modern world. There are also books of all those Greek myths the Greeks made if you want to learn more.
